OK, was kinda disappointed here ... found another Sauvignon Blanc under $10 (starting to run out of these!!) ... the aroma was nice and so I had a sip with great anticipation and I was disappointed. It was very light and I guess would make a nice outdoors "sipper" on a hot afternoon but certainly not like most of the other Sauvignon's I've enjoyed. In fact, it reminded me of the other South African Sauv that is found in a lot of Ottawa restaurants ... Two Oceans ... and that one didn't impress as well as I remember!!

A couple days ago I tried a slightly oaked Chardonnay and really enjoyed it, to my amazement! I decided to try another ... this one even more oaked and from Australia ... where one day I will visit as I LOVE their wine! And this Chardonnay was no exception. I found it light bodied with citrus flavors and a very smooth finish. I'll grade this one higher than the previous with a solid 8/10 and will definitly buy it again! And check out the serving suggestion ... PIZZA (although Hawaiian isn't my favorite, it's still pizza!!!).
