Here's a new grape ... Verdicchio ... didn't even know about it until I saw it on the bottle and did a bit of research.

I was a bit leery about trying another new one after yesterday but today wasn't a total washout ... not a big hit but not totally wasted! This wine had a slight floral bouquet and a hint of ripe fruit. Like I said, not a total washout but almost like that train trying to get uphill ... struggling to get there but not quite making it. Interesting, but definitely not one of my favorite Italian Whites ... 6/10
