We wanted to try a couple Pinot Grigio's from Italy so we bought 2 to go head to head ... but it wasn't much of a competition!
CITRA PINOT GRIGIO OSCO IGT
LCBO 17483 | 750 mL bottle
While the Pinot Grigio we tried in the previous post had a pleasant citrus aroma and a nice smooth finish, this one was sadly lacking .... in fact it could be considered the alter ego to the previous post ... it is the mild mannered Clark Kent as compared to Superman! Whereas the other aromatic, this was not. Wheras the other had a very pleasing lemony taste, this failed to impress. But lets cut to the chase ... at $7.95 a bottle, it's a good second bottle ... definitely not the first on the table. A 5/10 .... but only because of the price!
