OK ... I mentioned at the onset I prefer white wine but I have enjoyed a glass or 2 of red over the years ... It took a week of constant reminding that there were red wines under $10 as well as the whites I enjoy so here we go ... our first red!

Well I hope my first red is not a harbinger of things to come! This wine was a disappointment. You could actually smell the alcohol and it was bitter with no distinguishing flavors. But of course I finished the bottle .... It wasn't "bad" ... just disappointing ... but I wouldn't buy it again. Rating = 5/10
