I don't usually enjoy an "oaked" Chardonnay but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The bottle said it was "lightly oaked" so I tried it ... and liked it! The aromas were of ripe citrus and tropical fruit and had a fresh crisp finish. a solid 7.5/10 and I would buy this Chardonnay again!

Tasting Note - Brilliant yellow/gold colour; melon, pear, ripe apple and vanilla aromas; dry, with tropical fruit flavours with some toasty oak notes; excellent intensity and length.
Serving Suggestion - Rich seafood dishes; herbed chicken; creamy pasta; grilled 'meaty' fish.
